As you gain more levels in Corruption you'll eventually unlock the Powers system. A pseudo talent-like system that will allow you to take various new abilities that range from class spell modifers, procs, flat stat increase, stat conversions to other stats, damage increasing effects, and even brand new abilities and effects for your class!

You can access and view Corruption Powers at any time. Just find the Corruption Manager npc; Lady Vaelith, mainly located in the major cities, and interact with her. Each power has its own level requirement that your Corruption level must meet before you're able to learn the new ability. To unlearn the abilities you will need a Fel Shard which can be earned passively through playing. You will sometimes get these shards from boss kills and played time, they're are not account-bound, so please keep that in mind!

Every class has its own dedicated tab within the Corruption Powers UI, filled with powers tailored specifically to that class. Enhance your abilities, modify how they work, unlock new effects, and discover powerful combinations that can completely change how you play.

The Tiered tabs will offer you powers that effect your stats, such as giving you more armor or strength. Some tabs might even offer you powers that will convert one stat into another, such as a certain % of your strength giving you spellpower! Some powers may even give you a significant damage boost when fighting certain enemies! 

Your corruption powers will save with your talents, when you switch to your off-spec, your powers will switch as well! Saving you from wasting shards to respec your powers!
